Our Microsoft Teams integration lets you search your Waybook documents and share them with team members, right from within Microsoft Teams.

While we're actively working on the Microsoft Teams extension, it is not available in the normal Microsoft App directory. The guide below will walk you through adding it to your Teams in a few simple steps.

Installation

  1. Download the Waybook app from the Microsoft Store.

  2. Make sure you are signed in to complete the installation.

  3. Microsoft will then add the Waybook Extension and add it to your account.

Usage

Currently, the Waybook Microsoft Teams extension lets you search and share your Waybook documents. To do so:

  1. In a normal chat, click on the Waybook icon beneath the message box. If you have a lot of extensions, you may need to click on the three dots icon and search for Waybook.

  2. The first time you search you'll need to sign in to your Waybook account. You should only need to do this once.

  3. Now when you open the Waybook Extension you will see your most recent documents. Entering a search term will let you search your Waybook. You can click on any document to share it in a new message.

Settings

If you are a member of multiple Waybooks, by default the Waybook Extension will search your first team. Right-clicking on the Waybook logo beneath the message box will let you access the Settings page for the Extension. Here you can change the team you are searching in.

Feedback

Waybook is actively looking to improve our integrations with Microsoft Teams and other tools. Please let us know if you see anything we can improve upon, add, or otherwise change to make your experience better.
