Embedding Videos in Steps

Find out how Waybook's limitless embedding lets you add videos to your steps from virtually any platform, with step-by-step guides for Google Drive, Loom, Vimeo, Wistia and YouTube.

Embedding videos brings your steps to life. They make your documents more engaging, show your team exactly how something is done, and turn big chunks of text into a quick, easy watch.

Waybook offers limitless embedding, so you can add videos from virtually any platform. If your video tool gives you an embed code, you can bring it straight into your steps in Waybook.

How embedding works in Waybook

Most platforms follow the same simple pattern. Once you know it, you can embed from almost anywhere:

  1. Find the embed or share option for your video on the platform you use.

  2. Copy the embed code or embed link.

  3. In your Waybook step, paste it into the Waybook embedder.

That's it. Because Waybook supports limitless embedding, you're not locked to a fixed list of platforms - if your tool provides an embed code, it'll work.

  • We can't support CNAME (custom domain) links. If your platform uses a CNAME, reformat your link to the standard structure for that platform, or reach out to our support team, and we'll help you get it working.
