If you are already using Directory Sync to effortlessly bring new team members into your Waybook, we have some fantastic news for you. Now, you can sync your Directory Groups too! Imagine the convenience of seamlessly transferring the same Groups from your Directory Provider, like Microsoft Active Directory (AD), directly into Waybook.

Setting up Directory Group Sync

Getting started with Directory Group Sync is a breeze. When you're setting up your Directory Sync connection to Waybook, simply let us know that you want to sync your Groups. If you already have a sync connection in place, no worries! You can enable Group Sync at any time by reaching out to us

Once your Groups are synced, you'll notice an indicator letting you know that they are part of the Directory Sync. These groups grant you the power to manage the content that's visible within them.

Benefits of Group Syncs

Synced Groups appear just like normal Groups in your Waybook Members section. You can add subjects, documents, and flows to them just like normal. If you wish to change the name of the Synced Group or the members within, you must do this within your source Directory e.g. within Microsoft AD.
