If you're already using Directory Sync to effortlessly add new team members to Waybook, we have exciting news: you can now sync your Groups too!

Imagine the convenience of seamlessly transferring the same Groups from your Directory Provider, like Microsoft Active Directory (AD), directly into Waybook.

Directory Sync is a Pro feature, so if you haven't upgraded yet, this is the perfect excuse to take your Waybook experience to the next level. See what other features are also available as part of upgrading to a Pro account.

Setting up Directory Group Sync

Getting started with Directory Group Sync is a breeze!

When you're setting up your Directory Sync connection to Waybook, simply let us know that you want to sync your Groups. If you already have a sync connection in place, no worries! You can enable Group Sync at any time by reaching out to us.

Once your Groups are synced, you'll notice an indicator letting you know that they are part of the Directory Sync. These groups allow you to manage the content your team members can access in bulk and with ease.

Benefits of Group Syncs

Synced Groups look and behave just like regular Groups in your Waybook Members section. You can add Subjects, Documents, and Learning Paths to them just like in regular Groups. If you want to change the name of the Synced Group or update its member list, you need to do this within your source Directory, for example, within Microsoft AD.
