Having trouble viewing a document in Waybook due to an error message can be frustrating, but don't worry! We're here to help you quickly resolve this issue and get you back on track. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix this problem:
Check Permissions:
If you receive an error message that says "You do not have permission to view this document," please check your permissions.
To verify your permissions, go to your Member settings. If you are unable to access the Members tab, please ask a Waybook manager or admin to check for you. Make sure that you have the necessary access to view the specific Document. Sometimes, permissions may have been unintentionally changed or revoked. If needed, confirm with the document owner.
Account Sign-In:
Please make sure that you are signed in with the correct account associated with the Document. You might be using a different account or not signed in at all. This is more common if you have multiple Waybooks or use different emails.
If you suspect you may be using the wrong account, try logging out and then logging back in with the correct credentials. Alternatively, use this link to force logout and sign back in.
Edit Toggle on:
If you are having trouble finding a Document or Learning Path that you were working on, please check the edit toggle. If you have not published the Document or Learning Path, you will only be able to view it in Edit mode. Once the toggle is switched back on, you should be able to find the Document you wanted.
If you have attempted the steps mentioned above and are still encountering difficulties accessing the Document, please do not hesitate to contact our dedicated support team for assistance.
Our support team is on hand to support you and will work to resolve your problem as quickly as possible 😊
