How to Use the Word Document Importer

To build your Waybook using existing documents, follow these steps:

  1. From the New Step menu or within Create, select Import.

    1. If using Import from within Create, select the Subject where the imported Word document should be stored.

  2. Choose a file from one of the available sources or simply drag and drop your document into the uploader.

  3. Once uploaded, edit the document directly in Waybook.

How to Use the PDF Importer

Easily build your Waybook using existing PDF documents by following these steps:

  1. From the New Step menu or within Create, select Import.

    1. If importing from within Create, choose the Subject where you’d like the PDF to be added.

  2. Upload your PDF by selecting a file from the available sources or simply drag and drop it into the uploader.

  3. Once uploaded, your PDF will be automatically converted into an editable format so you can make updates directly within Waybook.

How to Use the PowerPoint Importer

If your training material or SOPs live in PowerPoint, bring them into Waybook directly - no manual rebuilding required:

  1. From the New Step menu or within Create, select Import.

    1. If importing from within Create, choose the Subject where your presentation should be added.

  2. Upload your PowerPoint file by selecting a file from the available sources or simply drag and drop it into the uploader.

  3. Once uploaded, your slides are converted into editable content with images preserved - ready to refine, structure, and publish.

Divide your document into smaller, digestible steps.

Simply hover over the point you want to split from, click the six dots, and select Split Step to create clear, bite-sized content.
