There are a number of reasons why you may want to link to other steps or documents within your Waybook. Whether you're referencing a related step or simply guiding your teammates around your Waybook, it is super easy to do, just follow these steps.

Linking between documents and steps

Here's how to link to another document or step in Waybook:

  1. In a new tab, open the document or step you want to link to

  2. Make sure you have edit mode switched off and copy the link from the URL bar

  3. Go back to the step you want to link from and add a link by pasting this URL when prompted

It's that simple - just three steps! 🤩

If you're still not sure of the value of linking between steps and documents, feel free to get in touch with the team and we'll be happy to share some use cases with you.
