At Waybook, we put you at the centre of all product decisions, working hard to continue to develop a tool that helps your teams train, scale and onboard with delightful ease.

With some exciting, epic features being developed behind the scenes, this month the team have been working on some quality of life and performance updates, to make Waybook even faster and more powerful for you and your organisation.

Let's jump straight to it and take a look at some of the updates we've made πŸ‘‡

Empty categories are now hidden πŸ™Œ

Since we launched categories, you have been so generous with your feedback and we have been hard at work to make sure this feature is providing the most possible value to you and your teammates.

Thanks to your feedback, we've been able to rework some of the logic behind categories to ensure your readers will only see the categories that house content they have access to. This means, empty categories will now only be visible in edit mode, but will no longer clutter your sidebar when reading your Waybook.

Step completion in Audit Log

Not only is it possible to view your team's progress using reports, but you can also track step completion from your Waybook audit log πŸ™Œ

This is particularly useful for high-compliance tasks and processes, as you can see both when a step has been marked as complete and if your team unmark steps as complete in your Waybook.

Even more embed support ✨

We are not slowing down when it comes to expanding our support for embedding content in your Waybook. As long as your requests continue to roll in, we'll keep churning out updates to support your most used platforms.

This month, we have added support for πŸ‘‡

We have also deployed an update to support more link formats for Lucid, giving you more flexibility when embedding content from the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite.

Downgrade admins to readers

We've been listening to your feedback and understand that your team members' roles are likely to change in your organisation, so we wanted to give you even more flexibility to make sure this is reflected in your Waybook.

It is now possible to downgrade your existing admin members to readers in Waybook, removing the ability for them to change content or manage your team, but allowing them access to read your Waybook documents and subjects.

If you have any other permissions-based feedback, please get in touch with the team - we would love to hear your thoughts!

Stay updated on what the product team are working on by checking out our public roadmap and keep your feature requests coming - we love to hear them!

You can also join us on the second Wednesday of every month for our monthly Product Update Webinar, where we'll dive deeper into the features recently launched and share best practice tips 😊
