Slash commands are your shortcut to building Waybook content faster. Instead of clicking through menus, just type / anywhere in your document to instantly access all formatting and content options.

Think of it as your quick-access menu - headers, checklists, tables, images, and more are all just a keystroke away.

How to Use Slash Commands

  1. Click where you want to add content in your document

  2. Type /

  3. Browse the menu or start typing to filter options (e.g., type "head" for headers)

  4. Click your choice or press Enter to add it

What You Can Add with Slash Commands

  • Headers - Structure your content with different heading levels

  • Text formatting - Bold, italic, lists, and quotes

  • Checklists - Create actionable task lists

  • Tables - Organize information in rows and columns

  • Images - Add visuals to your documents

  • Videos - Embed video content

  • Files - Attach relevant documents

  • Dividers - Break up content sections

  • And more! - The full menu shows all available options

⚑ Speed tip: Start typing immediately after the slash to filter the menu. Type "/check" and you'll jump straight to checklists - no scrolling needed!
