File attachments let you include downloadable resources directly in your Documents. This is perfect for making forms readily available to your team, providing templates, or sharing reference materials alongside your instructions.


Adding File Attachments

To attach a file to a Step:

  1. Open the editor menu by clicking the + icon or using slash commands

  2. Select Attach File

  3. Upload your file

  4. Publish the Document to make it visible to your team

You can also access the attach file option from the editor toolbar at the top of your Step.

When to Use File Attachments

Attach files when your team needs downloadable resources:

  • Forms that need to be completed offline (expense reports, evaluation forms)

  • Templates for documents or presentations
