June's update is a broad one. A number of updates and new features released this month, spanning content creation, reporting, progress tracking, analytics, and team setup.
Here's a look at what's new:
PowerPoint Imports
If your existing training material or SOPs live in PowerPoint, you can now bring them into Waybook directly - no manual rebuilding required.
PowerPoint is now a supported file type in the Waybook importer, joining Word documents and PDFs. Your slides are imported into the Waybook editor with images preserved, giving you a solid starting point to refine and publish.
To import a PowerPoint file:
From the New Step menu or within Create, select Import.
Upload your file - or drag and drop it into the uploader.
Edit the imported content directly in Waybook, then publish when you're ready.
💡 Waybook Tip
See all supported file types and how the importer works in the Import Existing Documentation guide.
Saved Reports & Scheduled Reports
Waybook's reporting tools have had a meaningful upgrade this month. The Report Breakdown section is now called Reports, and Saved Breakdowns are now called Saved Reports - a cleaner name that better reflects how they're used.
Alongside the rename, Saved Reports now support two new capabilities:
Share with other admins and managers - so everyone involved in team oversight is working from the same data, without each person setting up the same report separately.
Update and re-save existing reports - refine the filters or scope of a saved report and save it back, keeping your most-used views accurate over time.
And for Pro teams, Scheduled Reports is now live.
Scheduled Reports is available to all Waybook Pro teams
Scheduled Reports takes your Saved Reports and automates their delivery. Set up a schedule once, and your reports land in the right inboxes automatically - so the insights you need are always there, without anyone having to remember to run them.

Progress Views
You've always been able to track team progress at the document level in Waybook. Now you can see the full picture - across documents, subjects, and learning paths - from dedicated progress views.
New progress views are now available for:
Documents - see who has completed, started, or yet to begin a specific document.
Subjects - track completion across all content within a subject.
Learning Paths - see how your team is progressing through a full path, from start to finish.
Each view also gives you the ability to reset progress at that level. Update a subject and need your team to re-complete the content? Starting a new cohort through a learning path? Reset with a single action and you're good to go.

Creator Insights
Creator Insights gives you visibility into how content creation is distributed across your team. This month it gained a useful toggle: you can now switch between documents a creator owns and documents they've contributed to.
In teams with multiple editors working across a shared knowledge base, ownership and active contribution aren't always the same thing. This update gives you both views - so you can recognize contributions more accurately and keep workloads balanced.
Creator Insights is part of the Reports section in your Waybook.
Invite Permissions Preview
When you invite a new team member to Waybook, you can now see exactly what permissions they'll have - based on the groups you assign them to - before the invite goes out.
If the inherited permissions aren't quite right, you can make overrides directly in the invite flow. There's no need to send the invite first and adjust access afterward - you can get their setup right from the start.
You can also match a new team member's permissions to an existing member of your team. If someone is joining a role that already has a well-established access setup, this makes replicating it straightforward.
