Keeping your team's progress accurate is essential for ensuring compliance and maintaining up-to-date knowledge.

Waybook gives you two ways to manage document progress: resetting progress when retraining is required, and marking documents as complete to record learning that happened outside of Waybook.

When to Reset Progress vs. Mark as Complete

Reset Progress is perfect when you need your team to retrain on SOPs, processes, and knowledge in Waybook. This resets their progress back to zero so they can go through the updated material and stay current with your latest processes.

Mark as Complete maintains accurate records when team members have already completed learning offline or through other methods. This is particularly useful for existing team members who were trained before you started using Waybook, or when you've conducted in-person sessions.

How to Reset Progress

  1. Navigate to the document you want to reset

  2. Click the Progress tab within the document controls

  3. Go to Report to see your team's completion status

  4. To reset everyone: click on Reset Progress at the top of the table

  5. To reset an individual: click on Actions and select Reset Progress

You can also do this from Reports when viewing either a Document or Member in the Report Builder.

How to Mark as Complete

  1. Navigate to the document you want to mark as complete

  2. Click the Progress tab within the document controls

  3. Go to Report to see your team's completion status

  4. Scroll to Actions and select Mark as Complete for any assigned team member

This sets their progress to 100% completion, giving you an accurate record of who knows what - regardless of where that learning happened.

Who Can Manage Progress

Admins and Managers can manage progress for their team members, giving you the control needed to maintain accurate knowledge records and ensure compliance across your organization.

Keeping Your Records Accurate

These features give you complete control over your knowledge records. Reset progress ensures everyone reviews important content when it matters. Mark as complete documents all learning - whether it happens in Waybook or outside it.

The result? Completion tracking that accurately reflects your team's real knowledge. Your reports stay meaningful, your compliance stays solid, and your team stays informed.
