We have some exciting new releases and a sneak peek at what's coming up in the next couple of weeks in this month's product update.
Here’s a look at this month's product update:
AI-Generated Org Charts
You can now automatically generate a Role Chart within Waybook’s Org Chart using AI. This gives you a structured view of team roles, making it easy to visualise your organization, clarify responsibilities, and support new hires during onboarding.
Keep Your Team Informed with News and Polls
We’ve launched two powerful new features to help you improve communication and engagement across your organisation:
News – Share updates, announcements, and key messages with your whole team
Polls – Quickly gather input, preferences, and ideas from your team with simple, interactive polls
You can find both features in the new Organization section of Waybook, and they’re also surfaced right on the dashboard, replacing the old welcome message widget.
Important updates and polls can be pinned to stay visible, and articles support rich text formatting, so you can highlight key points, link to documents, or make your welcome messages more engaging than ever.
Create Click-to-Call Phone Directories
Now you can add tel:
links to any step in Waybook. This means your team can click to call phone numbers directly - perfect for building internal directories or support pages that help people get in touch instantly.
See Who's Required Before You Publish
Before hitting publish, you’ll now see exactly who will be required to complete a document. This gives you greater control and confidence, ensuring your content reaches the right people with the right completion settings applied.
It also helps you avoid publishing documents that no one is assigned to, so you can be sure every piece of content has a clear audience and purpose.
Import Documents with Markdown
Already have documentation in Markdown? You can now import it directly into Waybook. This new importer makes it even easier to bring your existing knowledge base into the platform and get started quickly.
